Requirements:

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• Familiarity with the following test equipment: Hi-Pot, Megger, TTR, DLRO, Power Factor Test, Relay test set, Breaker Primary & Secondary Injection equipment, Phasing Sticks.
• Prior experience with electrical testing and complex LOTO.
• Possess excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Able to exercise sound judgment in frequently making decisions and regularly directing a group of workers.
• Capable of multitasking with little or no supervision.
• Possess good computer skills with basic programs such as Word, Excel and Email.
• Possess an attitude that is positive, committed, self-motivated, safety minded, and innovative.
• Have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Job Description:

• Travel within a 200-mile radius, with some jobs requiring overnight stays. Approximately 25% of overnights could last one to two weeks.
• Perform electrical testing of transformers, switchgear, breakers, and cables.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues (grounds, faults, voltage/current, imbalances, etc.).
• Perform complex LOTO’s.
• Supervisor small groups to perform preventive maintenance services.
• Prepare detailed technical proposals.
• Work on equipment with voltage ranging from 120 VAC to 34.5 kV.
