Job Description:

• Pickup and deliver equipment of various sizes/shapes/weights.
• Maintain Class B CDL and pass all medical physicals and drug screenings as required by the FMSCA.
• Chain and tarp own loads.
• Effectively carry out written and verbal instructions.
• Competently complete all required paperwork and maintain time records/driver logs (Elogs) as needed.
• Perform other tasks as instructed when not on the road.  This can include washing vehicles, assisting mechanics, maintenance/cleaning of shop, etc.
• Maintain a professional appearance and interact professionally at all times with customers.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.   Some overnight travel/stays are required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Have Class B CDL with excellent driving record.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience driving tandem trucks.
• Must be able to obtain Hazmat endorsement within 6 months of hire.
• Must have knowledge of local area (Hampton Roads)
• Must be physical able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and be able to climb in/out/around truck beds.

NOTE: This position requires drug and background screening.
